1Who we are

Hinabi Privé ("Hinabi Privé", "we", "us", "our") is the business behind Hinabi Music — the music project of the artist known as Pat Hinabi — and operates this website at hinabimusic.com, publishing VOL II: KURATA, the VOL II: KURATA Letters, and the book DRAMA. Where you see "Hinabi Music", that is the brand; the entity you are contracting with, and that takes any payment, is Hinabi Privé.

Hinabi Privé is based in the United Kingdom. You can reach us at hello@hinabimusic.com.

2Using this site

By browsing hinabimusic.com you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. We may update the site, or withdraw it, at any time, and we do not guarantee it will always be available or uninterrupted.

The site is intended for a general audience. It is not directed at children, and some of the writing deals frankly with adult emotional subject matter — love, betrayal, heartbreak and apology.

3Our content and your licence

Everything on this site — the writing, the songs and recordings, the artwork and photography, the VOL II: KURATA name and chapter names, the HINABI name and logo, and the design of the site itself — is owned by Hinabi Privé or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property rights.

You may read, enjoy and share links to the site for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not, without our written permission:

  • reproduce, republish, sell or commercially exploit any of our content;
  • copy or adapt the lyrics, essays or book text;
  • use our recordings or artwork in your own videos, products or releases; or
  • use the HINABI or VOL II: KURATA names or logo in a way that suggests a partnership or endorsement that does not exist.

4The VOL II: KURATA Letters

The VOL II: KURATA Letters is a subscription publication. Subscriptions are taken and managed on our publishing platform at kurataletters.hinabimusic.com, and the terms of that platform apply to your subscription alongside these Terms.

Plans and pricing

  • Your First Letter — free. One letter, and a place on the waitlists. No payment card required.
  • The Weekly Letter — £8 per month. One essay each week, plus the archive.
  • The Inner Room — £28 per month. The weekly letter plus daily summaries and behind-the-scenes material.

Prices are in pounds sterling (£) and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We may change our prices; if we do, the change will not affect the period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before your next renewal.

Billing and cancellation

Paid plans renew automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account on the publishing platform; your access continues until the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again after that.

Your right to cancel. Because the Letters are digital content delivered straight away, when you subscribe you agree that we may begin delivering them immediately, and you acknowledge that this affects the 14-day "cooling-off" right that would otherwise apply to distance purchases under UK consumer law. This does not take away your right to cancel future renewals at any time, or your statutory rights if something we provide is faulty or not as described.

The Letters are a personal essay series. They are one writer's reflections on love — not professional, medical, psychological, legal or financial advice — and you should not rely on them as such.

5The book & waitlists

DRAMA — The Book of Love & Lies is being written. Joining a waitlist registers your interest and, where you have asked for it, lets us tell you when the book, or a chapter of the music, becomes available. A place on a waitlist is not a purchase, is not a guarantee of availability, price or a release date, and creates no obligation on either side until you choose to buy something.

DRAMA is a work of creative writing. It is inspired by true stories; it is not reportage, and its characters and events are not intended to depict identifiable real people.

6Payments & third-party services

We do not take payments on hinabimusic.com itself. Subscriptions and payments are handled by our publishing platform and its payment processor (Stripe), for and on behalf of Hinabi Privé — so a charge may appear on your statement as "HINABI PRIVE". Links from this site may take you to services operated by others (for example our publishing platform, or Instagram, Facebook and Threads). We are not responsible for the content or practices of those third-party services, and their own terms and privacy policies will apply when you use them.

This site also uses analytics and advertising services provided by Google (including Google Analytics and Google Signals) and by Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram). By using this site you acknowledge that these providers may set cookies and process usage data in accordance with their own terms and policies, including the Google Advertising and Meta Advertising policies. How this data is used, and how to opt out, is described in our Privacy Policy.

7Acceptable use

When using the site or contacting us, please do not misuse it — for example by attempting to gain unauthorised access, introducing malicious code, scraping content at scale, or using it in any unlawful way. We may restrict access to anyone who does.

8Disclaimers & liability

The site is provided "as is". While we take care with it, we do not promise it will be free of errors or that the content is complete or up to date.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — this includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, or for business losses. None of this affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

9Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published here, with the "last updated" date above, is the one that applies. If we make a significant change affecting a paid subscription, we will give reasonable notice.

10Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction — though if you live elsewhere in the UK, you may bring proceedings in your own country.
